What is a Message Transfer feature?

A Message Transfer is a handy feature that allows you to send important messages—like Accept, Update, Cancel, and Closing notifications to a different contact than the job owner.

This is especially useful when you want someone else to stay in the loop on specific jobs. For those who need to keep multiple contacts informed.

For teams we have the additional feature called CC Message Transfer option. This lets you add two or more people to receive your messages, ensuring everyone gets the information they need.

Key Points to Remember:

1. No Self-Completed Jobs: Message Transfers won’t work for jobs that are self-completed. There must always be a job owner for the transfer to be possible.

2. Save All Required Contacts: Make sure you have all the necessary phone numbers saved in your app’s contact list. without these, the message transfer won’t work.

3. Choose the Message Type: Decide which types of messages (Accept, Update, Cancel, Closing) you want to be sent to the different contacts.

#### Example Setup: Let’s say you have jobs coming from (979) 808-9008 and you want the notifications to go to 4 different numbers

Here’s how you could set up your Message Transfers:

When I get a job from (979) 808-9008 I would like the following numbers to get notified:

- **ACCEPT** → (972) 848-8733
- **UPDATES** → (970) 709-8786
- **CANCEL** → (902) 116-8116
- **CLOSING** → (902) 966-0950

Now what you need to do Is open a chat with our support team to implement the rule for you.

This setup ensures that each contact receives the right messages at the right time. Setting up or updating a Message Transfer is straightforward and helps keep your team connected and informed.
