We are excited to announce that we are now accepting Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs) as valid forms of identification for our users!
ITINs are issued by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to individuals who are required to have a U.S. taxpayer identification number but are not eligible to obtain a Social Security number. This includes non-resident aliens, foreign students, and individuals who are not authorized to work in the U.S. but have U.S. tax reporting obligations.
At Talus Pay, we believe that everyone should have equal access to the resources they need to succeed. By accepting ITINs, we are reopening our doors to a wider range of users who were previously been unable to access our services, due to a lack of a valid form of identification.
This aligns with our commitment to inclusivity and making our services accessible to all.
