Job Sub-types

Specify the type of job you complete to give more detailed information to your co-workers and your customers

Job sub-types are tags that you can use to share more details on the job. Using the tags will auto-populate the job description and create a faster Add Job experience as you no longer need to manually enter the job description.

The job sub-types will appear in:

  • Job description - giving you or the technician you transfer the job to a better understanding of what the job includes.

  • Estimates and receipts - giving your customer an itemized receipt and a better understanding of the price breakdown.

  • Closing message - giving the dispatcher or company a detailed record of the job that was completed.

How to use job sub-types?

Very simple!

When creating a new job on the Add a Job screen, choose the type of job and the sub-type that is relevant for this specific job. This will auto-populate the job description.
