Transaction History & Year End Summary
When it comes time to file taxes for yourself or your business, you will likely need a history of transactions for jobs that you processed through Jobox. Here are your options:
1. Export Wallet Transactions
You can easily generate and email yourself a list of all your wallet transactions. This report will include the dates, senders, recipients, and amount of every charge or payment:
You can filter your transaction report by date or export all transactions. Watch the video below, or review the full article.
2. Get a 1099K
Make sure to provide your personal and business details to verify your account.
Go to Account > Account Information > Account Verification and tap Add
Be sure to provide your Social Security Number or your company’s employer identification number (EIN). This is your Tax ID and is necessary for us to issue you a 1099K.
What is a 1099-K?
Every year, the United States IRS requires that Jobox provide a form called a 1099-K for each Jobox account that meets all of the following criteria in the previous calendar year:
More than $20,000 USD in total gross volume AND More than 200 charges
The 1099-K is a purely informational form that summarizes the sales activity of your account and is designed to assist you in reporting your taxes. It is provided to you and the IRS, as well as some US states. It is NOT a report of earnings as it doesn’t factor in other costs that you may incur to run your business.
I need proof of income, can you help?
Jobox can not issue you a proof of income statement as Jobox does not send you jobs or participate in providing services to your customers. We can help you get a copy of the transactions that you processed and your app activity. In addition, at the end of the year, we’ll issue eligible users a 1099-K which shows a summary of your sales activity on Jobox.
