FAQ
What is a 1099-K?
Every year, the United States IRS requires that Jobox provide a form called a 1099-K for each Jobox account that meets all of the following criteria in the previous calendar year:
More than $20,000 USD in total gross volume AND More than 200 charges
The 1099-K is a purely informational form that summarizes the sales activity of your account and is designed to assist you in reporting your taxes. It is provided to you and the IRS, as well as some US states. It is NOT a report of earnings as it doesn’t factor in other costs that you may incur to run your business.
I need proof of income, can you help?
Jobox can not issue you a proof of income statement as Jobox does not send you jobs or participate in providing services to your customers. We can help you get a copy of the transactions that you processed and your app activity. In addition, at the end of the year, we’ll issue eligible users a 1099-K which shows a summary of your sales activity on Jobox.
