New design and functionality for the Tech Portal

Since Jobox acquired PowerDispatch, we’ve been working to make life easier for both your office staff and field technicians. This means an integrated experience between PowerDispatch and the Jobox app, and we’re excited to share we’re in the pilot phase with some accounts. We’ll let you know soon when it’s ready for your team. 

We’re also improving the PowerDispatch Tech Portal, which is required for the integration. If you’re not yet using it, please give it a try and let us know if you need any help. Closing jobs from the Tech Portal is now a free feature, and we’ve also improved how it works:

  • Comments from technicians will appear on the Messages page with the job description as the subject line

  • Tech Portal links sent to technicians are much shorter

  • Improved formatting for job notes 

  • Several bugs have been resolved (“Map directions” button, Jobs menu, etc.)

Beyond the Tech Portal, we’ve also improved: 

  • The payments report default is now set to “last week” 

  • The speed of inbound Twilio messages
